The ‘INSPECTr - Intelligence Network and Secure Platform for Evidence Correlation and Transfer’. project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Grant Agreement No 833276.
The principal objective of INSPECTr is to develop a shared intelligent platform and a novel process for gathering, analysing, prioritising and presenting key data to help in the prediction, detection and management of crime in support of multiple agencies at local, national and international level.
The aim of the webinar series is to understand the proof-of-concept technologies presented by INSPECTr, the benefits to lawful investigations and the potential for further exploitation of this platform, which will be freely available to law enforcement agencies.
Objectives of the webinars:
- Discuss the challenges faced by the project
- Increase awareness about emerging research for law enforcement agencies
- Promote the adoption of the platform and technologies
- Encourage future research into operational use of the technologies
By the end of this webinar series, the audience will be able to:
- Understand how to access the platform
- Exhibit a detailed understanding of how to install and configure an INSPECTr node
- Use INSPECTr Gadgets for the acquisition and processing of digital evidence and intelligence sources
- Demonstrate an understanding of the platforms case management and analytics services
- Comprehend the full set of AI/ML tools in INSPECTr
- Understand the data privacy processes that support evidence discovery and the technology behind evidence exchange
- List the main features of the platform and how law enforcement agencies can further exploit the technology
