Webinar 50/2016 The outcome of the study on integrating entry bans and return decisions into SIS

As a follow-up to the adoption of the European Council Conclusions from June 2015, the European Commission envisages to propose changes to the Schengen Information System (SIS) with the purpose of enhancing its use for the return of irregular migrants. The changes mainly relate to the introduction of a new alert category in the SIS covering return decisions and changes to the organisation of the exchange of supplementary information between EU Member States. The aim of this webinar is to explain the reason behind the envisaged changes, practical implications and critical success factors.
