ActivityWebinar 3097/2022: Information provision in the context of access to the asylum procedure
The aim of the webinar is to familiarise first contact officials and law enforcement bodies with the legal framework and what information needs to be provided to Third Country Nationals during the access to the asylum procedure and how to ensure efficient information provision.
By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:
- Understand the legal framework of the right to asylum and the setting for information provision in the context of access to the asylum procedure;
- Know what information provision topics and messages need to be provided in the context of access to the asylum procedure;
- Learn how to effectively provide information during the access to the asylum procedure, reflecting on the context when information is provided, where, to whom and through which channels.

Law enforcement bodies responsible for identification of persons who are potentially in need of international protection and persons who intend to make an application for international protection, as well as authorities in charge of registering and lodging applications for international protection (including taking biometrics); officials performing these duties in the framework of a national asylum system, or in an operational setting, such as border areas, disembarkations, transit zones and hotspots.
