Webinar 3026/2023/WEB: Battlefield information exchange

The aim of the webinar is to improve law enforcement officials’ capabilities to obtain and use battlefield evidence in judicial proceedings, through international judicial cooperation.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Understand Eurojust’s experience and possibilities concerning counter-terrorism efforts;
• Highlight the most relevant categories of battlefield evidence;
• Summarise the challenges and difficulties concerning the use of this evidence in foreign terrorist fighters prosecutions;
• Recognise the effectiveness of international cooperation and mutual legal assistance procedures;
• Highlight the role of the Genocide Network;
• Underline lessons learned / best practices from successful case studies / cumulative prosecutions.
