E024/2023/EXB CEPOL Exchange-bite on Intelligence Analysis

The aim of this training is to share with law enforcement officials the knowledge gained during the CEPOL Exchange Programme 2023 in Greece and in Spain by two exchangees, specifically in the field of law enforcement cooperation in customs and excise fraud cases, as well as give insight into the international cooperation activities of the National Police of Spain and the Greek Customs.

With this Exchange-bite, the audience will be able to:

• Obtain knowledge on the Greek and Spanish police and customs system and in details about the criminal investigation system and how international cooperation works in both at the National Police of Spain and at the Greek Customs;
• Get insight to the exchange experience in the field of excise fraud and application of best practices for controls and excise fraud prevention;
• Know how to create a network of professional contacts in the field of excise fraud prevention in both customs and police.
