E016b/2023/EXB CEPOL Exchange-bite on Radicalisation, extremism and prevention of terrorism

The aim of this training is to inform European law enforcement officials about the main concepts of radicalisation, extremism, terrorism, and prevention of terrorism, as well as to give some examples of successful prevention programmes. Exchangees sharing their exchange experience are law enforcement officials from Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Türkiye.

With this Exchange-bite, the audience will be able to:

• Differentiate among radicalisation, extremism and terrorism;
• Enhance general knowledge and understanding of the concepts of radicalisation, extremism and terrorism;
• Understand different prevention approaches and successful prevention programmes.
