E016a/2023/EXB CEPOL Exchange-bite on Security and Protection of Public Spaces

The aim of this training is to inform law enforcement officials about the work of the Turkish Security Department and the anti-terrorism Police Department in Kosovo*, the different methods on how these two countries secure public safety, and the experiences of two counterparts from Kosovo* and Türkiye of the CEPOL Exchange Programme 2023.

With this Exchange-bite, the audience will be able to:

• Enhance general knowledge on the Turkish Security Department and the anti-terrorism department in the Police of Kosovo*;
• Learn about the different methods used by both police forces to ensure public security and to protect human rights;
• Identify the common enemies of public safety in both countries;
• Collect recommendations on how to ensure public safety.
