64/2026/ONS: Pan-European football security

The aim of this onsite activity is:

• To enhance safety and security during football matches with an international dimension within Europe by increasing the effectiveness and harmonisation of policing.
• To improve the ability of law enforcement authorities to effectively manage situations arising in connection with increasing spectator violence, as well as situations requiring conceptually appropriate planning of security measures for sporting events, through the exchange of best practices between the relevant law enforcement authorities of EU Member States and national football contact points in relation to known practices and types of behaviour in the context of spectator violence and the planning of security measures for football events.
