49/2025/ONS: Hate crime

The aim of this onsite activity is to:

• enhance the police response to hate crime as a specific form of delinquency with special motives, as well as an identifiable social and psychological basis.
• encourage the use of specific investigation methods and law enforcement cooperation in the field of hate crime.
• exchange practices between all EU countries, for example on non-coercive, investigative interviewing methods to facilitate the communication flow with suspects and increase the output of interviews. 

• encourage cooperation with civil society.
