Activity44/2024/ONS: Darkweb and basics of encryption in counter-terrorism
The aim of this onsite activity is to improve counter-terrorism investigations by enhancing participants’ capabilities and skills to independently conduct secure counter-terrorism investigations in the darknet on the basis of their (advanced) knowledge of different parts of darknet, dark markets; OSINT; crypto-currencies and blockchain.
This activity is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on Counter-terrorism.

Target audience
Law enforcement/intelligence service officers with sufficient technological knowledge and expertise for whom this topic area is part of their daily work. It would be advisable for applicants to have at least three years of experience in the field of counter-terrorism darknet investigations or cyber-crime officers supporting counter-terrorism darknet investigations.
