The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness among law enforcement officials about the potentially traumatic impact on children before, during and after an arrest, search or warrant and how to reduce this harm.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Explain the Rights of the Child as stipulated in Art 24 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
• Describe the impact that the arrest of a parent may have on any children present.
• Apply a child-sensitive approach to arresting a parent.
