3092/2023/WEB 'The role of the European Maritime Safety Agency in law enforcement cooperation and training'

The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness about the role of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) in law enforcement cooperation and training, and to give detailed information about the learning services of the agency.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Outline the services of EMSA that could be of use for EU law enforcement officials from EUROPOL, MAOC(N), FRONTEX, border police, coast guard, customs agencies and navies that are executing functions in the maritime domain (CSN, Copernicus, SSN, ROV, RPAS, IMS, CISE );
• summarise available training products developed by EMSA and how could they be tailored for law enforcement officials;
• underline the cooperation methods and exchange of information on coast guard/maritime functions;
• evaluate the preliminary results of the EMSA led Multipurpose Maritime Operation (MMO) in the Central and Eastern Baltic Sea.
