The International Cold Case Analysis Project (ICCAP)
, the world’s largest international cold case project, is a global cooperation on cold cases between police colleges and universities under the umbrella of AMBER Alert Europe and in cooperation with the Police Academy of Lower Saxony and Locate International.
The aim of this webinar is to introduce participants to the scope of application of new technical principles, methods and international standards in cold case analysis and systematic handling of cold cases in their day-to-day work.
By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:
- Identify the further criminological, psychological, and forensic methods at the cutting edge of research and science for the analysis of unsolved cases;
- Assess the role of interdisciplinary cooperation;
- Assess challenges and success factors;
- Reflect on the data protection and file security.
This activity is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on law enforcement cooperation, information exchange and interoperability.

Advanced investigators and officials working in the fields of serious crime, homicides, missing persons, unidentified bodies, and cold cases, as well as those responsible for training in criminal investigation in these areas.
Registration for this webinar is restricted to law enforcement officials from EU Member States, Associated countries and Justice and Home Affairs agencies.
