The aim of this hands-on webinar is to better equip law enforcement officers to avoid any risk for fundamental rights violations and to enable them to better protect unaccompanied children in return procedures.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• explain why unaccompanied children are particularly vulnerable and at a higher risk for fundamental rights violations;
• explain the principle of the best interests of the child in the context of unaccompanied children in an irregular situation;
