3053/2022/WEB 'Accountability principles for AI in the field of internal security (Online self-assessment tool)'

The aim of the webinar is to familiarize participants with the Accountability Principles for Artificial Intelligence (AP4AI) framework and present the functionalities of the accompanying online self-assessment tool, designed to support the implementation of the upcoming EU AI act. The AP4AI framework provides a practical toolkit that directly and meaningfully supports AI Accountability when implemented in the internal security domain. The adoption of these principles allows the police and security forces to capitalise on the use of AI in combatting serious and organised crime, whilst demonstrating accountability to supervisors, regulators and society.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Recognise the benefits of accountability frameworks for the implementation of AI in the internal security domain
• Define the functionalities of the accompanying online self-assessment tool.
