The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness among law enforcement officials about the new features that will be available through interoperability and the use of interoperability for identification and improved law enforcement access.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Explain the purpose, content, and the use of Article 20 - use of the Common Identity Repository for identification purposes (what it is, who can use it, when it can be use and how to use it);
• Explain the purpose, content, and the use of the Article 22 - use of the Common Identity Repository to facilitate law enforcement access to the EU Information Systems (what it is, who can use it, when it can be use and how to use it);
• List the legal requirements to ensure law enforcement access to the EES, ETIAS, VIS, Eurodac and ECRIS-TCN.

This activity is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on law enforcement cooperation, information exchange and interoperability.
