The aim of this webinar is to enhance awareness among law enforcement officials regarding the new interoperability features, with particular emphasis on their application in identification processes and the facilitation of improved access for law enforcement. 

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose, content, and the use of art. 20 - use of the Common Identity Repository for identification purposes (what it is, who can use it, when it can be used and how to use it);
  • Explain the purpose, content, and the use of the art. 22 - use of the Common Identity Repository to facilitate law enforcement access to the EU Information Systems (what it is, who can use it, when it can be used and how to use it);
  • List the legal requirements to ensure law enforcement access to the EES, ETIAS, VIS, Eurodac and ECRIS-TCN.

This webinar is implemented by the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on law enforcement cooperation, information exchange and interoperability  in cooperation with the European Commission.
