This webinar focuses on the various stressors and potential impacts (positive and negative) of working with sensitive and graphic materials/working within the area of online child sexual exploitation. Various strategies and tools are shared that can be applied to mitigate the impacts within one’s professional and personal life while enhancing resiliency and personal growth.

By the end of this webinar, the audience will be able to:

• Identify potential areas that could cause increased stress/emotional impact;
• Recognise signs and symptoms of physical, mental/cognitive, behavioural and emotional stress and trauma;
• Normalise reactions;
• Utilise strategies to help mitigate the impacts of exposure to sensitive and graphic materials (e.g. child sexual abuse material);
• Apply personal coping skills and protective factors;
• Develop their own wellness plan including tools and techniques for building resilience and identifying support systems;
• Understand the importance of knowing how to access the resources and support services available to them/how to support and direct their colleagues to these resources and support services in a time of need.
