23/2017 First responders and cyber forensics

Aims:

• to enhance knowledge and the development of practical skills regarding the methodology used in digital forensics for identifying and responding effectively at the scene of cybercrime cases. Additionally, this course aims at further developing the cooperation between law enforcement and European and international organisations regarding investigative methods and policies in the field of cyber forensics, as well as the discussion of good practices in dealing with cyber criminality;
• to acquire practical skills at computer forensics concerning revealing and investigating traces of cybercrimes;
• to enhance cooperation and to harmonise investigative methods between law enforcement on how to intervene on the crime scene in case of cyber incidents and to deal with electronic evidence.
