Tutoring Exchange Programme
The pilot Tutoring Exchange Programme is available as a multilateral exchange where a pair composed of a senior law enforcement official supporting a less experienced colleague is matched with a similar pair of law enforcement profiles from another country. Ideally, the senior and less experienced officials should belong to the same organisation. This scheme is suitable for career changers or officials taking up a new position at EU level.
Who can take part?
This specific programme encompasses exchange opportunities for law enforcement officials from EU Member States, Western Balkan Countries and Türkiye. Associated countries such as Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland can take part in the programme on their own cost.
Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Have a reasonable level of English (at least level B2) enabling professional communication with CEPOL and colleagues about enforcing the law on the selected topics;
- Have minimum three years’ work experience and expertise in the defined specialised category;
- Have not participated in the Exchange Programme during the last three years preceding the call;
- Have a need and a readiness for individual learning;
- Have the ability and willingness to cascade newly gained knowledge both in a European/international and on a national level.
