Anna SERGI

Dr Anna Sergi is Professor of Criminology and Organised Crime Studies at the University of Essex, in the UK. Prof Sergi has pioneered critical and cultural research on mafia mobility, primarily looking at the ’ndrangheta - the Calabrian mafia - abroad, in Australia, North America and Europe. 

Prof Sergi has also focused at the role of seaports' vulnerabilities in cocaine trade. Her research been widely published in specialist and less specialist outlets.
