Preparing police officers in engaging on EU funded research activities

The German Police University organised on 19-21 January the CEPOL seminar 83/2014 “Initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU funded policing projects” in Münster, Germany. 42 law enforcement officers and research experts from 23 EU Member States came together to learn how to successfully apply for EU funded projects and to implement, monitor and evaluate them according to the relevant requirements.
Trainers and lecturers included representatives from the European Commission, law enforcement agencies and the industry. Experts from distinguished German research institute Fraunhofer INT ran a workshop focusing on how to draft a successful proposal and a consortium agreement as well as on several administrative and financial related aspects.
