CEPOL activity 44/2023/ONS takes place in Lille, France

From 4-8 December 2023, the CEPOL Knowledge Centre on Counter-terrorism organised training activity 44/2023/ONS on “Dark web and basics of encryption in counter-terrorism”. The activity took place in Lille, France, hosted by the Cybercrime Training Centre of the French Ministry of the Interior.

26 law enforcement officials from 19 European countries had the opportunity to take part in this activity, which aimed to improve counter-terrorism investigations by enhancing participants’ capabilities and skills to independently conduct secure counter-terrorism investigations in the Darknet on the basis of their (advanced) knowledge of different parts of Darknet, dark markets; OSINT, cryptocurrencies and block chain.
