Reminder - Communication Paper - CEPOL Strategy

Invitation to bring forward proposals

Reiterating the communication paper distributed from the Presidency, 14 October 2009, pertaining to invitation to bring forward proposals regarding the content of the policy framework paper on future CEPOL Strategy, there are two more documents to be considered or at least give you some food for thoughts.

1. SE proposal on “Law Enforcement Strategy” (doc. 13611/09).
2. SE proposal on developed co-operation and rapprochement between the second and third pillars (doc. 13612/09).

Both documents were presented at the Police Chief Task Force Strategic Meeting, 19 October 2009, in Brussels. Regarding the first document, ES and BE expressed their will to take on board and pursue the issue during their respective Presidency.

Deadline for responses is 20 November 2009 to the Swedish Presidency and copy to brenda.scott@cepol.europa.eu no later than 20 November 2009.
