On 6 May 2014, the Council of Ministers voted in favour for the change of CEPOL’s seat from Bramshill to Budapest
. The European Parliament, on 16 April 2014, had previously voted in favour of this amendment to Decision 2005/681/JHA establishing the European Police College (CEPOL). Planning for the relocation is already underway, which will take place once all conditions have been met.
