The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training reopens its doors to resume on site residential activities. This decision includes a steady resumption of the CEPOL organised courses in Budapest and the granted training activities implemented by CEPOL Framework Partners in their respective host countries.
As a collateral effect of the Covid-19 crisis, almost all of the residential training activities initially planned for 2020 have been impacted. As a result, around one third of all activities have had to be cancelled, while the majority have either been postponed or transformed into an e-Learning product (webinar or online course). As a matter of fact, since the suspension of all operational activities requiring physical presence, CEPOL has expanded its training portfolio to a broader range of e-Learning products to adapt to the scenario and to cater to a growing demand of online learners.
In this new post-lockdown set-up, and without prejudice to further actions determined by the evolution of this crisis and the recommendations by health authorities and administrations, specific covid-19 safety measures will be ensured in each on site activity to provide a safe training environment for all attendees.
CEPOL will continue to monitor the evolution of the situation, adopting appropriate measures in line with advice received from the host Member State authorities and EU institutions or bodies, and will spare no effort to collaborate in this situation with its partners and to keep on protecting the health and wellbeing of its staff and stakeholders.
We want to thank our stakeholders for the support and the understanding demonstrated so far and for the flexibility that has geared up to the resumption of the residential training activities.
