The EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) is currently seeking candidates for the post of Executive Director. The vacancy for an Executive Director (Grade AD 14) of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) [Budapest] — COM/2017/20020 was published in the Official Journal of the EU on the 30^th of June. The closing date for applications is 30 July, 23:59 CEST.

CEPOL is a European Union agency that fosters European and international law enforcement cooperation through training. The Executive Director manages and represents the Agency. She/he is responsible for establishing and managing the administrative, operational and financial measures necessary for the appropriate functioning of the Agency. Without prejudice to the powers of the Management Board, to which she/he is accountable, the Executive Director shall assume full responsibility for the implementation of the tasks assigned to CEPOL. The new CEPOL Executive Director is expected to take office on 16 February 2018. The place of employment will be Budapest, where the Agency is based.
